Seafood “a-la-Salvadoran” in the Port of Acajutla and surroundings

Shrimp, shells, cocktails, ceviche, fried fish, lobster ... Isn't your mouth already watering? Directly from the sea to the table. In this area in the west of the country, you can enjoy excellent seafood and fish prepared in the Salvadoran style.

Nothing better after a day at the beach, diving, or recreational fishing than visiting one of the many local restaurants, either in the port of Acajutla or on nearby beaches, to taste any of the seafood dishes available. We can start with some snacks, either seafood, meat, or combined, along with a good fish or shrimp ceviche, to continue with fried, breaded, or stuffed fish.

If soups are your thing, in this area you can taste exquisite seafood, fish or shrimp "chowders". Rice dishes cannot be missing either. And, of course, the queen, lobster, whether they serve it grilled, with garlic, steamed or stuffed with shrimp and crab. Accompany it with delicious corn tortillas and an iced-cold Salvadoran craft beer, and you're set. Enjoy!
