Sumpul
With a length of 77 kilometers, Sumpul River is a tributary shared with Honduras is born on the slopes of Cerro El Pital, the municipality of San Ignacio. Also feeds on six rivers and four broken with the ultimate destination hydroelectric dam 5 November.

From San Salvador conduct yourself in the North Trunk Road (4N) Resume and towards Aguilares.
RECOMMENDATION: is necessary to move a vehicle wheel drive because the road is uneven and wet.
In Chalatenango, then have to move to La Palma and San Ignacio River diversion route at Chiquito. From San Ignacio resort 8.5 miles or so to get to this diversion. When climbing the diversion of Rio Chiquito find signs that point the way to "Stacks" located at a distance of 6 kilometers. Sumpul River is located 7 miles away from this point.
Towards Canton Stacks:
From Rio Chiquito forwarding must handle in the Canton address Stacks. Take reference to the Health Unit "Stacks" and should turn right following the dirt road. If in doubt the locals can succor.

Route 119: East Terminal bound from San Salvador to La Palma / San Ignacio / Citalá each 30 minutes. Ticket cost from $1.25 USD a $3.00 USD.
