National Palace opens its doors to tourism

The Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) and that the Ministry of Culture (SECULTURA) promotes various exhibitions and tours are the attractions for tourists who wish to attend the night tours.

The current structure replaced the old National Palace built during the years 1866 a 1870, which suffered a fire 19 December 1889. Outstanding in its main facade six columns and statues of Christopher Columbus and Isabella, donated by Alfonso XIII in 1924. The National Palace was declared a National Monument in 1980.
