Located in the city of Izalco, was built years before 1570 since in this year, the parish was well organized, Civil records show Caluco. It is not known who or who built it but his benefactor was Don Diego de Guzman.
The church is surrounded by an atrium, the facade is three bodies, but the church only two bodies are, and the bottom medium, divided by moldings decorated fitomarfas.
The lower body has a main entrance and two side, shaped arch and decorated with four pairs of Tuscan columns. In the middle body is placed an oculus and four pairs of columns.
The newly built upper body, is decorated with pilasters and Gothic decorations in relief, on top stands a clock and is crowned by a small dome and a cross.
On each side of the upper body are the bell, also crowned by a dome and a cross.
