Tustacas from San Miguel

Ingredients:

2 cups of ripe ground and roasted corn.

3 ounces of butter

½ cup grated cheese

½ Sweet brown sugar candy (panela candy)

Procedure

Mix all ingredients until a dough is formed. With the palms of your hands make small balls (half a golf size ball).

Place a piece of panela on top of each tustaca, so it will melt with the heat. Place on greased aluminum molds and bake at 350 degrees for ten or fifteen minutes.
