Los Portales Restaurant is a gastronomic experience that blends traditional Salvadoran food with international ingredients creating dishes that please even the most demanding tastes.
Their decor is based on the architectural legacy of Santa Tecla that means large houses with a central courtyard and big portals.
With prior booking you may taste a delicious breakfasts or lunch with prices from US$ 3.00 USD to US$ 5.00. If you want to try something different they grill rabbit meat and peligüey, among others.
On weekends, they have large buffets for US$ 7.00 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and they also do themed dinners and have live music.

Address: Paseo El Carmen, 1st Avenue North and 1st Street East # 1-9, Santa Tecla, La Libertad.
To get to Paseo El Carmen:
By car take first find the Municipality of Santa Tecla located on 2nd North Avenue. Drive on 7th north Avenue and turn left at the intersection with 3rd East Street (you will see San Antonio Community Hospital).
You can park your car at the City Hall during business hours (8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p.m.) for $ 0.35 per hour. You can also park at the nearby shopping centers for US$ 1.00.
Paseo El Carmen is located on 1st East Street.
Public transport routes that circulate in the area are: 42 (minibus) and 101-D “Special”. The fare is US$ 0.35.
