You can taste the most delicious food created by Chef Danilo Ortega, the owner, who likes to prepare dishes for the most demanding taste. Among its specialties are seafood ceviche both Peruvian or Salvadoran style, cocktails, entrees like juicy smoked pork ribs, prime beefsteaks, among other options.

• Acajutla Restaurant

A classic for Salvadoran style seafood is Acajutla Restaurant.
Among its specialties is the Cocktail Minute 2002, a mixture of fish ceviche, shrimp, snail, squid and shell (regular portion US$ 7.75 and large US$ 10.75).

This location offers an exceptional meal with a friendly atmosphere. Food is prepared “ family style” with influence of eastern El Salvador cousine.
The house specialty is the famous Salvadoran Mariscada (Seafood soup) with crab, lobster tail, river shrimp accompanied by two tortillas with melted cheese (similar to pupusas). You can taste it at US$ 12.00 and US$ 15.00 depending on size.

How to get there:
If driving park at the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) and CORSATUR car park just entering La Libertad price is US$ 0.50 a day. Security personnel constantly monitors this place there are over 250 parking spaces hours from 6:00 am until 10:00 p.m. Monday to Sunday, occasionally hours are extended until 2:30 on. This facility also has parking for 7 buses and there is handicap, maternity and motorcycle designated areas.
It offers a second level pedestrian walkway, which connects to The Gourmet plaza and the pier.

nuestros paises centroamericanos no tienen que enviarle nada al resto del mundo, soy guatemalteco, y tuve la dicha de visitar el puerto de La Libertad, en el El Salvador, me vine encantado del lugar, y si vuelvo a tener otra oportunidad no la voy a dejar pasar. saludos hermanos salvadoreños
