El Majahual Beach
El Majahual at La Libertad, might be the country’s busiest beach, mostly because its proximity to the capital but also because most of it is open to the public.
Since its mostly visited by locals, you will find a rich variety of seafood dishes and cocktails, with prices ranging from US$ 1.00 to US$ 2.00, offered by friendly vendors walking around the beach.
You can also take advantage of small hotels and shops built in the traditional way with wood and palms.

At El Majahual you will run into plenty of street vendors that offer seafood cocktails at affordable prices (from US$ 1.00 to $ 2.00). For fresh fish and variety of seafood you might pay from US$ 8.00 to US$ 10.00. There are many small restaurants and eateries as well.

How to get there:
If traveling by car, we recommend you follow the Coastal Highway to the west. 10 minutes from La Libertad you will see El Majahual beach on your left. You may park your car in guarded parking for US$ 1.00 or US$ 2.00
Bus routes available:
Take route “102” or “AB 80” that travel from Puerto de La Libertad to El Sunzal Izcanal, Majahual, San Blas, Charcón, San Diego. The fare is $ 0.75.

Es la playa más linda y alegre que he conocido, no dejando atras el puerto de La Libertad. En fin todas las playas que estan sobre toda la litoral de punta a punta son muy lindas, Garita, Palmera, la Barra de Santiago,etc., etc., etc..
