Lic. Jose Napoleon Duarte Duran

One of the sons of the former president of the Republic of El Salvador, the engineer recalled Jose Napoleon Duarte and former First Lady of the Republic Dona Ines Duarte Durán.

The current Minister of Tourism has constructed, in 56 years of life, a career path based on transparency, honesty, responsibility and political vocation, social and economic both nationally and internationally.

The social and human excellence, passion for teamwork and corporate unit, are badges that have allowed learning from each of their successes and failures; achieving success from his life as a student and professional.

Jose Napoleon Duarte Duran has a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Centroamericana "Jose Simeon Canas".

Your goal responsibly exercise each of its steps, also led him to study a Masters in Business Administration, Higher Institute of Management (IESA) in Caracas, Venezuela. It also has pioneered microfinance in El Salvador and Latin America.

He began his work experience to 23 years old, working as a financial analyst and Financial Planning Manager Gillette Co.. (American).

He worked as General Manager for Central product line, Bierdof company in BDF (Germany), served as Manager of Marketing and Advertising, at Banco Mercantil, Caracas, Venezuela, among other important positions.

His first experiences as a professional and international political, were as official Inter-American Development Bank (BID), was also responsible for carrying out the programs of the Micro and small enterprises in Latin America in Bolivia, Paraguay and Colombia.

He has advised senior managements, Inter-American Development Bank and World Bank consultant, on the issue of development and decentralization and municipal finance.

Founder President of the Association of Salvadorans in the U.S. Residents, Washington, worked and was one of the first promoters and advocates to promote the TPS, through the Association of Salvadorans
Residents in the U.S..

His extensive experience developed in the above areas, is faithfully, the testimony of your work along 33 years old, providing pleasant work professionalism in and out of El Salvador.

She founded unions including specialized microfinance: ASOMI, SICSA REDCAMIF. Founder and president of Micro S. A. C. In.

Jose Napoleon Duarte Duran specialized in the world of oil painting from 1985, as a painter has a rich collection of various artistic styles to convey his creativity and knowledge through landscape paintings, paintings of deep ocean and mountains with a combination of water and other collections.

Nominated among 10 Latino U.S. Year, by the Association of Journalists of Washington (1988).

Another of his important international figure: "Hispanic Heritage" by the Organizing Committee 500 years of evangelization of the Americas, granted by the Salvadoran Green Cross for help building a Mini Hospital. He received the Award of Merit from the Diocese of Virginia.

Also, has had the opportunity to develop through their professional pen interesting publications among which: the book on "Microenterprise in Latin America", Newspaper articles and magazines nationally and internationally.

Editor and author published several books published by the "Fundación José Napoleon Duarte", as: "Modernization and Privatization in Latin America"; "Globalization in Latin America and its effects"; "Dialogue"; "Thinking of President Jose Napoleon Duarte".

He is the chief editor of the book "My destiny ... my life", written by his mother Doña Inés Duarte Durán, in November 2005.

The Minister of Tourism, Jose Napoleon Duarte is a simple and tenacious. A man casts a special gift: learning how to manage people with concrete ideas and clear, respectfully and always radiating a sense of leadership and a spirit of service and dedication.

He serves as Minister of Tourism of El Salvador from 1 June 2009, appointment by the current President of the Republic, Don Mauricio Funes, until June 2014.

    Soy estudiante de Turismo de la Universidad Francisco Gavidia, me encanta saber que delante del futuro turistico de El Salvador hay una persona con tan buena trayectoria profesional.
    La renovacion del sitio web esta espectacular, lo unico que note que aun estan trabajando en la construccion de este, ya que hay partes donde no se encuentra informacion, o no esta actualizada.     I love much your interest to revive the beautiful villages of our country, however humbly told him that we should make known to the world with a strong marketing autoctono what our Thumb.
