Since July 1991 Restaurant La Pradera JS, located at downtown San Miguel, has become one of the best options for grilled food.
They have spacious areas with air conditioning for the comfort of diners.
Where to eat
They have an extensive menu specializing in grilled meats. You can taste the “Punta Jalapeña” and also American cuts including ribs for US$ 10.00 USD, Coulotte for US$ 12.00 USD or Ribeye Steak for the same price.
The house specialty is the “Great Pradera” which includes beef consomme, salad and the main dish for US$ 14.95.
If you want something lighter you can try broccoli, tomato, onion or asparagus soup for US$ 3.00.
There are seafood cocktails for US$ 8.00, delicious oysters au gratin for US$ 8.75 or shrimp for US$ 12.75.
They have bar service and a variety of soft drinks and natural drinks at affordable prices.

If you drive from San Salvador to San Miguel must travel the Pan American Highway (CA-1).
You can do so from the road the coast (beach area) or whether the diversion San Martin proceeded to Resume which is the same alternate route to reach Usulutan and San Vicente. From San Salvador to San Miguel are 2 hours 30 minutes.
