Hostel Segen
During your visit to Ataco at the province of Ahuachapán, you may stay at the comfortable Segen Hostel.
Since August 2010, this charming hostel offers pleasant facilities with a terrace ideal for relaxing, reading a book or talking about your experiences with other guests, all with an impressive panoramic view of the town of Ataco.
You may also take advantage of tours offered to several tourist spots in the area and the adjacent departments (provinces) all at affordable prices.

Monday to Thursday from US$ 7.00 and Friday to Sunday US$ 10.00 per person.
How to get there:
Address: 3 ª West St # 1, Barrio El Angel Concepcion de Ataco, Abroad.
Drive towards Sonsonate using the Panamerican Highway (CA-1) towards Santa Ana. At “El Poliedro” overpass take the highway towards Sonsonate.
Start your tour through the streets of Sonsonate. Drive along the Flower Route towards Apaneca, the road is well signposted.
Along the way you will find signs indicating you how to reach the destination of you interest along the Route. The journey by car takes about an hour.
If going by bus, there are several options. At the West terminal in San Salvador, you may board “special” bus 205 at US$ 1.30
(Journey takes about1 hour and 15 minutes), regular bus route 205 costs US$ 0.75 USD (journey takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes). You can also board route 249 going from Sonsonate to Ahuachapán.
And Ataco: the hostel is half a block behind the City Hall.
