Atami Beach Club
If you are after something special at a beautiful beach, Atami Beach Club offers privacy and all the amenities expected of an exclusive beach resort.
Since 1977, Atami has developed extensive infrastructure, including private residences, lots, beach club, 64 independent bungalows, 3 fresh water pools and one salt-water pool (in front of the beach). There are also waterslides, restaurant (specializing in seafood), children’s play area, indoor soccer field, basketball and volleyball courts.
If you want to spend the night, Club Atami offers visitors 10 fully furnished independent houses for your stay.
Where to eat:
If you are visiting the Beach Club, Atami has restrictions in regards to entering with food. However the local restaurant offers delicious dishes and specializes in seafood. Prices range from US$ 3.50 to US$ 16.00.
Where to stay:
As mentioned, Atami has independent houses for those wishing to stay overnight. This service is offered only for tour groups. The admission fee is additional, if your stay is two days and one night, you only pay the equivalent of one day admission. The rates are as follow:
- Double rooms: $ 45 plus tax (with fan)
- Triple rooms: $ 35 plus tax (with fan)
How to get there:
Club Atami is located 15 kilometers from Puerto de La Libertad and 49 kilometers from San Salvador. This beach is adjacent to Playa El Palmarcito.
