This comfortable restaurant is located on a 100 year old house that will transport you to Petropolis, an impressive city next to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Here you can try Feijoada made with black beans, pork, rice, headlight, mohlo a bell and couve for US$ 6.50. Note that this dish is available for special occasions.
Among the most requested drinks are the famous Caipirinha made with cachaça, ice, lemon, sugar at only US$ 2.50 . For “Open Doors” days at Paseo El Carmen you may enjoy this drink for US$ 1.50.
Other treats include cheese sticks or sausages from US$ 1.25. They also have beef, chicken and tuna sandwiches, salads and other Brazilian style dishes.

To get to Paseo El Carmen:
By car take first find the Municipality of Santa Tecla located on 2nd North Avenue. Drive on 7th north Avenue and turn left at the intersection with 3rd East Street (you will see San Antonio Community Hospital).
You can park your car at the City Hall during business hours (8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p.m.) for $ 0.35 per hour. You can also park at the nearby shopping centers for US$ 1.00.
Paseo El Carmen is located on 1st East Street.
Public transport routes that circulate in the area are: 42 (minibus) and 101-D “Special”. The fare is US$ 0.35.
