Scuba diving at Los Cóbanos Beach

El Salvador, has an ample variety of tourist destinations, one of them is Los Cobanos a place where scuba diving is practiced.

Most of the best spots for diving are a few kilometers from Los Cobanos Beach, located at the province of Sonsonate, near the International Port of Acajutla.

This coral sand beach its unique along the Salvadoran coast, and it is the perfect place to start and underwater adventure where you may see a large variety of fish and coral formations of various shapes and colors.

You may dive in this area with the assistance of various tour operators who have the right gear to practice this adventure sport. They provide boats, oxygen tanks, vest, purposes, masks and wetsuits.

The experience is unique and as recommended for experts in the field. The best time of the year to scuba dive are the months of January and February, because there is less wind and currents.

How to get there

The province of Sonsonate is located in the western El Salvador, just 85 km from the capital San Salvador.

For access to the beach a tall vehicle is recommended (there is no need of 4×4) or you may get there using public transport by taking the following bus routes: From San Salvador in the western terminal take Route 205 towards Sonsonate and then terminal at Sonsonate board Route 257 towards Los Cobanos .

    I think it would have more tourist attraction ssi is traduciera other languages. Especially in English. Which is a pretty universal language. The information in Spanish seems good and attractive mut. But also fitos ayudaruan colors and prices lis.
