Bokaditos Café
Located at the end of the 1st East Street at Paseo El Carmen, Bokaditos Café is a nice place where you can taste delicious traditional pastry (pan dulce) from El Salvador.
From the early morning hours you may smell the aroma coming from the fresh baked sweet bread that is usually accompanied with a hot coffee for only US$ 0.25 a cup.
This site is visited by “tecleños” who know the quality of the product and the low prices.
Taste the delicious apple and raisin cookies for US$ 0.35, cupcakes with strawberry jam, or if you would like something different try a cupcake with basil for just US$ 0.40. They have blueberry cakes or local marquesote and semita.
They prepare apple and plum cakes, quesadillas, and local treats like salpores that can be accompanied with hot chocolate or cold drinks.
Visit Bokaditos Café and enjoy the culinary delights from traditional Santa Tecla. This Café is located at the impressive Paseo El Carmen.

To get to Paseo El Carmen:
By car take first find the Municipality of Santa Tecla located on 2nd North Avenue. Drive on 7th north Avenue and turn left at the intersection with 3rd East Street (you will see San Antonio Community Hospital).
You can park your car at the City Hall during business hours (8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p.m.) for $ 0.35 per hour. You can also park at the nearby shopping centers for US$ 1.00.
Paseo El Carmen is located on 1st East Street.
Public transport routes that circulate in the area are: 42 (minibus) and 101-D “Special”. The fare is US$ 0.35.
