Dulce de Tamarindo

To prepare tamarind candy should take into account the final flavor you want to let the sweet. This factor depends on the amount of sugar in tamarind mixture. The more tamarind use, it will taste more natural. In return, if more than the amount of sugar, the taste of tamarind pulp will be less.

Need tamarind, sugar and water. The water will help dilute the mixture to prepare with the first two ingredients.

Preparation

First remove the rind of the tamarind, rinse and add water. Bake them in a pot for 10 minutes. Then drain them with the aid of a sieve. Then mash with a paddle to roll back and release tamarind pulp, such that the seed and remaining single strands in the colander.

Pulp is then placed into the fire, stirring; you add two cups of sugar. Then cool slightly, and addition of more sugar and tamarind balls are formed and coated sugar. The last step is to wrap them in cellophane.
