Cooperative Los Pinos
Open to the public from 1999, Cooperative Los Pinos is a unique destination where your senses will be delighted with a spectacular view of Lake Coatepeque, surrounded by a cool climate and forest vegetation, between coffee and large trees.
This site has served as a coffee plantation high (Bourbon type) for export because it lies to 1, 800 meters above sea level, with an extension of 475 apples.
Guided trails can go up to a mile and a half, final bound rest area located on the lake itself. Also, complete your stay with a boat ride and discover the natural wealth of the island Teopan.

Cooperative Los Pinos Restaurant has service in your room either event or even to the shore of Lake. You can order a la carte menu from steaks, soups, poultry, cocktails from $4 .00 USD a $6.00 USD and its house specialty "Fish guapote", vegetable accompanied, rice, tortillas and other accessories from $8.00 USD up $10.00 USD the plate.

Where to stay
As part of the rural tourism offers Los Pinos Cooperative can camp in either the restaurant or area surrounding the lake front just $3.00 USD for the service, more $2.00 USD per person. As a requirement should carry the camping equipment.

Physical Address: Canton Los Pinos, Kilometer 55 ½ Road from Santa Ana to Sonsonate. Via Cerro Verde, The Congo, Santa Ana.
If you drive a vehicle and comes from San Salvador should take the road towards the Cerro Verde to the fork of the same name. You should move up to kilometer 55 ½. Access is the left side of the road.
If it carries on bus, should address the Route 209 Bridge The Congo, bound for Santa Ana, Sonsonate. Cost of passage $0.30 USD.
